A Twisted World

Re: The Terri Schiavo Case
There are no winners here, and not too many surprises. The prophet, Isaiah spoke of times like this in Old Testament times when he stated: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20) The Apostle Paul also spoke of times like this when he said: "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Where is justice? Where is fairness? We will not see that day--but it is coming. A day who's coming is as certain as the rising and setting of the sun each day. The day of visitation from the Judge of the Universe. He will judge with fairness and justice. Those who fail to protect the innocent and defenseless will be among the most harshly judged.
